The workshop is aimed at MSc and PhD students as well as young researchers working with protein sequences and structures. Several core bioinformatics techniques of sequence similarity searching as well as the UniProt database will be discussed. The workshop will also provide hands-on experience of exploring and analyzing the 3D macromolecular structure data available in the Protein Data Bank (PDB).
