Taragot Masterclass 3rd Edition
Due to the increase interest by many of the international taragot players in the authentic Romanian music and in learning Dumitru Farcas’s unique style, we organise the 3rd Edition of the Taragot/Tarogato Masterclass, in October 21-26, in Cluj Napoca - Romania. There are taragot/tarogato players coming from Germany , France, Holland, UK, Switzerland, USA, who will participate again this year.
The classes are 6 days, from Monday-Saturday, learning Romanian music from different parts of our country.
Oct 24-26 is the Dumitru Fărcaș Festival VI th edition , for the taragot/tarogato players who would like to attend and meet with some of the best virtuosos.
Each year we had some of the best instructors teaching both the Banat and Transylvanian style (the two main regions where the taragot is played in Romania.) Come and join us, meet great people sharing same passion, make music and unforgettable memories. We are so so thrilled and honored to have Adrian Neamțu and Prof. Marius Cârnu as instructors for the 2024 Taragot/Tarogato Masterclass/Atelier Edition.

The masterclasses are geared towards intermediat and advanced players however beginners are welcome.
